When I first started the book, it was taking about The Authorities and all that other futuristic stuff from the beginning with no explanation for it. At first, I thought there was a book before that that introduced us to the futuristic world of Traces! Over all it was a great book! I have currently (as of May 11th) read the 1st chapter of Double Check (from the back of Roll Call)

Hearing that you were coming to the local library, one of the librarians got in this book - Transplant. We're very excited about meeting you, but the librarian let me borrow the book before her and I was hooked as soon as I opened it!
Forensic science comes to life in your books and I was fasinated by the amount of detail and character development within the story, and the way that the emotions of something that traumatic just captured me!
I couldn't put the book down long enough and was vastly disappointed when it came to an end that I returned it to the library and started to search the stores around me for your new Traces book - which I haven't been able to find!
But with Transplant - it was such a great story and will get more of your thrillers to read between the Traces series!
Hope your other books go as well as this one did!
